Kanye West has his new album “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” (iTunes link) dropping soon (Nov 22/10) and he recently released this short film titled “Runaway” featuring his single “Runaway” (the part where everyone’s at the dining table and Ballet dances flock by while Kanye is playing the piano) plus a few of the songs off of his new album. I believe this is Kanyes’ first directorial debut, and its not a bad entry for a music artist.

The movie is said to be influenced by film noir and concerns a fallen phoenix whom Kanye falls in love with.

No I’m not here to preach about how awesome Will Smith is in his amazing performance a few years ago, but rather, came across this amazing music video from Kid CuDi’s new LP Man on the Moon [iTunes], titled “Pursuit of Happiness”. This is the unreleased version, which I think is far far better than the typical night lounge bullshit with Drake, who isn’t even part of this damn song…anyways, enjoy. Is what I said to the co-runner of this site, ‘aeclasik’. Common sense would dictate that since I did the heavy lifting involved with getting everything you see about you up and running, he should at least write the first article introducing who we are and what we do. After some light banter on the merits of the new Apple iPad and how it will revolutionize the way women protect themselves ‘down there’ I broached the subject of the first post on the site and who was going to do it. Of course, predictably, I somehow lost this argument proving once and for all that you can’t win an argument with logic against a Canadian.

So backstory and bullshit aside, what is waterfail? Waterfail is the culmination of random shit that we think, see and do throughout the course of our lives. To Expand on our silly concept that doesn’t really tell you anything, the basic premise is that it can be pretty much anything. You can expect to see random musings, rants/raves, entertainment reviews and critiques, design and development information, and just plain cool shit.

Oh, and before any smart arses reply to tell us this has all been done before, shut up! We’re in-denial and bat-shit crazy, don’t mess with us.
