Three String Improv. Kvothe Styles

As posted on the blog of Patrick Rothfuss:

I was at my parents’ place in Guadalajara and I found an old guitar with only three strings left. I think I tuned it to Open G (or Open C, can’t really remember) and started jamming. After I came up with a little melodic sequence I enjoyed, I decided to start an improvisation based on that sequence and recorded a video.
It’s not quite what a certain Kvothe would conjure up but I’ve always had a certain irrepressible urge to pick up battered, age worn guitars lying in dusty corners and pluck away at whatever strings they have left.
